Reception at NASA-GSFC Visitor Center
Please join us at our conference reception on Wednesday evening, November 16th, for a delightful event of scrumptious hor d'oeuvres while socializing with the attendees at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
First, we will be taking a tour* of Goddard's Integration and Test Complex which will have the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) Optical Telescope Element and Integrated Science Instrument Module System (OTIS) in the final stages of testing.
At the Visitor Center, we will be given a "Science On a Sphere" presentation. This mesmerizing visualization system, developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, allows data to be projected on a 6-foot-diameter sphere. We will see a vast array of short films and visualizations illustrating data from Earth and planetary science missions.
Bus transportation will be provided from the Annapolis DoubleTree Hotel and back.
Important Note: The luncheon, reception, and social event at the NASA-GSFC Visitor Center are only included for conference attendees that register for the 3 day conference or conference + tutorial package.
*Conference attendees wishing to attend the the NASA-GSFC Visitor Center cocktail reception event must be registered for the conference by November 1. In addition, all international attendees without dual citizenship need to provide by October 11 a photo copy of their passport, visa, or green card. This is to allow admittance into the NASA facility tour.
The conference management team would like to express their appreciation to the joint sponsorship commitments of DynaVac, Muller-BBM
