Reception at National Aquarium in Baltimore
Please join us at our conference reception on Wednesday evening, November
7th, for a delightful event of scrumptious hor d'oeuvres while socializing with the
attendees and their guests at the National Aquarium located at Harbor Place in Baltimore. It's a water wonderland
showcasing a stunning variety of aquatic creatures while teaching visitors how best to
preserve their homes.
Believe it or not, you can tour the tidewaters of Maryland, the Pacific coastland or a
tropical rainforest without leaving Baltimore. Or go deeper and deeper through the
Atlantic coral reef into the open ocean, observing numerous species of fish and the sharks
that swim at the lowest depths.
In addition to well-designed permanent exhibits, dolphins wave, jump and flip in regularly
scheduled shows at the Marine Mammal Pavilion. Catch an underwater view from the atrium
below or watch the tricks from the stands, but be warned: The bleachers marked Splash Zone
really are splash zones.
Bus transportation will be provided from the DoubleTree Hotel and arriving back to Annapolis by 10:30 PM.
Important Note: The luncheon, reception, and National Aquarium tour are only included for conference attendees that register for the 3 day conference or conference + tutorial package. Conference attendees wishing to attend the the National Aquarium cocktail reception event must be registered for the conference by October 12. Event planning requires a complete guest list by this date.
